SUCCESS
STORIES WITH BACKACHE & GENERAL PAIN
"I CAN'T PRAISE KOOL 'N FIT HIGHLY ENOUGH"
JOHN REYNOLDS is assistant art editor on the Sun, designing
the pages of Britain's most popular daily newspaper. He writes: I'd
been troubled with a constant ache in my right elbow for several years,
brought about by smashing up a concrete path with a 5lb hammer and a
cold chisel. It got to the point where I had limited use of my arm,
and a health test had shown that I had less power in my right hand than
in my left hand. ( I'm right handed ). I'd given up trying to do anything
about this problem, my doctor suggesting that the only cure was six
to nine months of COMPLETE REST of my right arm which, of course, was
totally impractical.
To be honest, I didn't really expect Kool 'n Fit to have any effect
whatsoever, considering what my doctor had told me and, at best, hoped
for a few minutes' relief from the pain. But I was very surprised to
find that within only a couple of days of using Kool 'n Fit the pain
had eased considerably and that after only three weeks of occasional
use the pain had gone altogether and I had a fully-functioning arm and
hand again.More than a year on and I'm now very rarely troubled with
it. On the rare occasions that I do feel a twinge or two, usually brought
on by excessive use of a keyboard or very cold weather, a spray or two
of Kool 'n Fit will usually sort it out. I can't praise Kool 'n Fit
highly enough. It has certainly cured me.

“WHILE
KOOL ‘N FIT KEEPS WORKING, I WON’T HAVE TO HAVE A DISC OUT”
Steve Witherspoon, aged 39.
His story: “ I have a disc problem – the big one at the
base of the spine keeps clicking in and out – and I have been
under the doctor for years. They wanted to take it out – I even
had a date for the operation – but I didn’t want to have
surgery unless it was absolutely necessary. I saw a chap down at the
football club.
He had had discs taken out and couldn’t feel a thing from his
knee down. His ankle was turned in under him but he didn’t know
it. He was in a terrible state and I thought ‘No’. I had
been taking anti-inflammatories and painkillers for years but the Kool
‘n Fit means I do not take pain killers any more. I don’t
miss them because they upset my stomach. I use the pain reliever and
the conditioner – the conditioner before I do any exercise, like
coaching the Brentwood Youth football team, and the pain reliever when
I go to bed. I find it really takes the edge off the pain and I can
get a good night’s sleep. While the Kool ‘n Fit wards off
the pain, it means I won’t have to have that operation. All the
kids in my soccer team use the conditioner for their warm-up before
training and matches. My mum, Pauline (60) uses the pain reliever for
arthritis in a hand. She also thinks it’s terrific. She had suffered
for years but the Kool ‘n Fit really works for her.”

“KOOL
‘N FIT ENABLES ME TO DO JOBS I’D OTHERWISE BE UNABLE TO
DO”
Roger Dormer, electrician and runner of Feltwell, Norfolk.
His story: “I had a problem with my calf muscles locking up during
races but I fixed that by carrying a sponge soaked in Kool ‘n
Fit and dabbing it on while I was running. I was doing the Benidorm
half-marathon when I and the bloke alongside me began struggling with
calf problems. I gave him and myself a rub down with the sponge and
we both carried on with no problems. This other fellow was so impressed
that, when we finished, he came with me to the changing room to get
a leaflet. He said he would order a bottle as soon as he got back to
the UK.
(Update: The chap’s name was Derek Coleran. He did put in an
order - for conditioner AND pain reliever). Roger adds: “My wife
and I have entries for the London marathon. We usually hit trouble after
17 or 18 miles – but this time we will have our Kool ‘n
Fit with us. My wife stubbed her toe and it was very painful but the
pin reliever solved the problem. I am an electrician and have RSI in
a wrist and, because I work a lot with my hands above my head, tennis
elbow in my right arm causes aggravation. The pain reliever enables
me to do jobs I would otherwise be unable to do because of the discomfort.”

“IT
HELPED WHEN I CRACKED A VERTEBRAE”
Mrs Giles, lawn green bowler of Herrongate, Essex.
Her story: “I cracked the fifth vertebrae and the pain reliever
certainly gave me relief. The PR certainly helped but, before I could
give it a fair chance, I cracked another vertebrae further up my spine.
It is a blessed relief to lie on my side in bed – it takes the
pressure off my spine. I am going to try your suggestion to tape a cloth
soaked in Kool ‘n Fit to the problem areas before I go to sleep.
I need to get active again because I like to play bowls six times a
week.”

“MY
HUSBAND DOESN’T GET HAMSTRING TROUBLE ANY MORE”
Elaine Barnes, aged 38.
Her story: “My husband Gary (43) has a lower-back injury from
martial arts 15 years ago and anything can trigger it off. He plays
rugby on the wing and has had trouble with strained hamstrings. Before
he plays, he uses pain reliever on his back and conditioner on his legs.
He hasn’t had a hamstring problem since he started using conditioner
for his warm-up and the pain reliever really takes the edge off the
back condition. I’m a runner and I have had problems with a muscle
on the outside of a knee for two years. A sports therapist says I probably
caused it my not warming up properly and damaging the muscle. I find
that if I use the conditioner before and after I run I do not have any
problems. The biggest problem is when we have only one bottle of conditioner
in the house – my husband and I end up fighting over it.”

THE
PAIN WENT IN TWENTY SECONDS”
Staff Nurse Sadie Frost, aged 27 (Chelmsford).
Her story: “I had dreadful backache, either from sleeping awkwardly
or from lifting our baby Henry (nine months). It was so bad that, four
hours later when I got to my parents’ place, I had to lean on
the kitchen worktop for support. My dad suggested Kool ‘n Fit
and literally within 15 or 20 seconds of him spraying my back, the pain
had gone. It really was that quick - so quick that my dad thought I
was joking.”

“PAIN
WAS SO BAD I WASN’T SLEEPING WELL”
Staff Nurse Anne Edwards.
Her story: “I had had physio for a year on a frozen left shoulder
but it had done little for me. The pain was so bad that I wasn’t
sleeping properly and, as you can imagine, it was difficult to do my
job. I tried the pain reliever and it worked. I spray myself every morning
and the effect lasts for about 12 hours.” Anne thought so much
of Kool 'n Fit - she even wrote to Woman's Own magazine to tell all
their readers about our products

Text of Anne's letter:
I've suffered from a frozen shoulder for the last few years. I can't
remember how or when it started, but as a staff nurse it was probably
at work. Looking back, I'm not sure how I managed. At times the pain
was so bad I couldn't even fasten my bra without help.
I tried acupuncture and physiotherapy and really benefitted from both,
but they were time consuming and in my job time's something you don't
have. Then a friend introduced me to an American product called Kool
'n Fit. It's a pain relieving spray aimed at the sports market, but
now it's used by thousands of people suffering from illnesses like arthritis
and tendinitis to backache and muscular strain.
I tried the spray after a bath one night...and it did the trick. I now
use it on my shoulder every morning, and the effects last for about
12 hours. I'd recommend giving it a go if you suffer aches and pains.

“IT
WAS AS IF MY BACK WERE IN A VICE”
Annmarie Worthington, aged 27. (Billericay, Essex).
Her story: “I woke with backache after sleeping on an airbed in
the baby’s room because Lucy (six months) had been unwell with
teething. I couldn’t put one foot in front of the other. It was
as though my lower back were in a vice and I was in severe pain for
a couple of hours. Then my mother, who is a staff nurse, suggested I
had a squirt of her Kool ‘n Fit. Half an hour later the pain had
gone. I think it was half an hour - it was just that my mum asked: ‘How
is your back?’ and I realised the pain had gone. Brilliant.”

“MY
STEPDAD’S BACK HURTS FROM UNLOADING AIRCRAFT”
Jason Haywood, aged 27.
His story: “I’m a fireman and need to keep fit for the job.
The conditioner is good if you have injuries – like muscles giving
you grief from running – and I find it helps with endurance. I
always put a few squirts in the bath water. It is very relaxing on the
muscles and the smell of eucalyptus is refreshing. My mum Mary uses
the pain reliever because she has arthritis in both arms. When she did
the ironing, her hand would seize up and it would take a couple of hours
before she could get any movement back in it. Now she sprays on Kool
‘n Fit and has no problems while she is ironing or afterwards.
My stepfather Brian, 60, also uses the pain reliever for backache. He
unloads aircraft at RAF Manston, near Ramsgate. After a day’s
work lifting things out of planes, he finds that the pain reliever takes
away the aches and pains. He’s got everybody at the airport using
it now.”

“IT
FIXED MY FOOT - THEN MY HORSE”
Jacqui Laitt, aged 39. (Pilgrim’s Hatch)
Her story: “My horse Red (aged 18 and 16 hands) had a hot leg.
The hock had been swollen for a week or ten days. I sprayed on pain
reliever for three or four days and it fixed it. I have had horses for
30 years and treat injuries myself rather than call in a vet, unless
it’s absolutely necessary. Vets are expensive and, anyway, nine
times out of ten they will order stable rest for a month or six weeks.
I’m against that - I’d prefer to turn a horse out into the
field and let nature take its course, even though it might take twice
as long. A horse kept in a stable 24 hours a day, day after day, eventually
comes out like a bullet out of a gun and is more likely to set off the
old injury than if you leave them in a field. Another advantage is that
Kool ‘n Fit contains only natural substances so no harm is done.
I used it on Red after it had worked for me and found it excellent.
I had a small swelling on the top of my foot and it was giving me pain.
The doctor thought I might have broken a small bone. I used the pain
reliever a lot and found it very soothing. I would definitely try it
again - on myself or my horse.”

“KOOL
‘N FIT GOT ME THROUGH THE MARATHON”
Carol Fordham, aged 39.
Her story: “I damaged by left knee on my last long training run
before the Dublin Marathon and the sports therapist said I had torn
something inside. I was worried I would have to pull out of the race
but a week before it I started using the pain reliever. I kept spraying
and it took the pain away so I decided to do the marathon (26.2miles).
During it, I felt only a twinge and, what’s more, I did it in
4hr 4min, knocking 16 minutes off my personal best. After the race I
used the sport conditioner and recovered far quicker than I did after
doing the London Marathon. I had hardly any stiffness and was running
again without any ill effects a few days later. The pain reliever was
so successful I now use it on my 13-year-old son for growing pains -
and it does the trick for him, too.”

“I’M
WAITING FOR A SHOULDER OPERATION BUT I PLAY BOWLS”
Betty Farrow, aged 62.
Her story: “I have been playing bowls for ten years and belong
to two bowls clubs - Orsett and an indoor club Thames-side Wanderers.
The problem is the shoulder joint of my bowling arm and I am waiting
for a replacement operation. I used to get lots of pain and have to
stop. I had tried everything - Deep Heat, Ralgex, Proxin and any number
of steroid injections - but nothing worked. Then I discovered Kool ‘n
Fit. Before playing, I spray on the pain reliever and it’s truly
amazing. An indoor bowls session lasts about two hours and an outdoor
one four fours and, though I play three times a week, I don’t
get any discomfort. Lots of bowlers have aches and pains so I give them
a spray and they can’t believe how good it is. I also use it on
a knee because a cartilage problem gives me grief, but nothing like
the shoulder used to. My husband Dennis (65) has arthritis in his spine
and the spray eases the pain.”
|
|
“THE
PAIN HAD GONE IN TEN MINUTES”
Anne Connolly, aged 47 (Morpeth, Northumbria).
Her story: “It’s brilliant. I had a bad pain in my shoulder
for a couple of weeks. I knew John was using the pain reliever for arthritis
in his left knee and had the bottle in his kitbag. I sprayed it on and
I can guarantee that within ten minutes the pain had gone. I keep the
Kool ‘n Fit on my dressing table. When the pain comes back, I
just spray and the pain goes. It sounds too good to be true but that’s
what it does for me.”

“I
COULD HARDLY WALK - NOW I’M REFFING RUGBY MATCHES”
Barry Smith, aged 36.
His story: “ I damaged my Achilles five months ago playing cricket
for Hutton in Essex. I was bowling and hurt it thumping down my foot
as I was bowling. I’m a rugby referee and when the season started,
the pain became worse. I’d ref a game at the weekend and the pain
would be so bad that I’d hardly be able to walk until the following
Thursday. In the end, I had to give up doing games. I hadn’t be
able to take a match for three weeks when someone gave me a free spray
of the pain reliever one Saturday when I was watching Brentwood play
Welling. It felt better within a few minutes. I felt so good on the
Sunday morning when I got up that, when I was asked at the last minute
to referee a game that afternoon, I said Yes. I did so and came off
after the match with no reaction at all to my Achilles.”

“IT
GETS RID OF THE STIFFNESS IN MY LEGS”
Peter Dallett (Ballycastle, County Antrim)
His story: “It’s terrific. I first used the conditioner
when I was going to the gym to get fit for a skiing holiday. I had been
suffering from aching legs after doing a session but with the conditioner
I was not getting any stiffness and my legs felt great, a lovely glowing,
warm feeling.”
|
|
“NOW
MY LEGS FEEL LOOSE AFTER RUNNING MARATHONS”
Gerard McDaid, aged 36. (Shepherd’s Bush, West London).
His story: “I had a sore Achilles after running my tenth marathon
of the year..
I was given a free spray of the conditioner after the Robin Hood Marathon.
My legs have always been tight for two or three days after a race but
this time they felt loose., the tightness I usually feel even when I
walked was non-existent. I have now done 12 marathons this year and
I intend to do 15 or more. I run with the London Irish Running Club
and some of the boys are members of the Hundred Marathon Club. It’s
my aim to join them. As long as I can run along and stay injury free
I am happy. The strange thing is, I used to be a boxer when I was younger
but never did much road work. I took up running three years ago because
I fancied doing the London. I did it - and after that I was hooked.
My best time is 3hr 25min but as long as I am under 4hr I am happy.”

“IT
GOT RID OF THE DULL ACHE WHERE I’D BROKEN MY ARM”
Mrs L Green,
Her story: “I was in the waiting room of the East London Hospital
waiting for physiotherapy on my left arm that I had broken. Sitting
alongside me was a lady I had never met before. She had also broken
an arm. We got talking and she produced a bottle of Kool ‘n Fit
from her bag. She said she had been using it for arthritis and had found
it had also worked on the pain in her broken arm. She gave me a spray
there and then. The dull ache I’d had where I’d broken the
bone went away immediately. I was amazed. We got the physio to photostat
the other lady’s leaflet about the pain reliever so that I could
order some for myself.”
|
|
HARVEY
LAWSON (karate): “It’s brilliant. I do 300 kicks
in a training session and my legs are always hurting afterwards and
I’m usually exhausted. But the sport conditioner takes away all
the pain.”
|
|
MITCH
POOLE (Conway Runners): “I was sceptical but it’s
brilliant.”
|
|
DOREEN
CHARNLEY (Clayton le Moors, Lancs): “I cannot praise
the Kool ‘n Fit pain reliever enough – it has saved my life.
I had tried everything for terrible tennis elbow and the only thing
that worked was extra strong painkilling tablets. The elbow felt as
if someone had pushed a red-hot knife into it. No joking, I was on the
brink of suicide with the pain. The first time I used Kool ‘n
Fit I had my first night’s sleep for months. My son is a paratrooper
in the Red Berets and now he is using it.”
|
|
NURSE
O’BRIEN (intensive care unit, Gloucester Royal Infirmary):
“I have osteoarthritis in my spine and get referred pain in a
hip. I was fed up with taking medicines and find Kool ‘n Fit absolutely
brilliant. I’m on my feet a lot at work and find it helps incredibly.
I keep one bottle at home and one at work. I recommend it to the other
nurses and people I work with.”
|
|
NURSE
A G DONALDSON (of Dunfermline, an auxiliary who looks after
the elderly): “I have pains in my neck and back – I think
it’s arthritis – and find that the pain reliever does work
well for me.”
|
|
STAFF
NURSE RUTH WYETT (Thornham, Norfolk): “It certainly works
for me.”
|
|
MRS
M HEWSON (Rednall, Birmingham): “I have sciatica and
the pain reliever is wonderful.”
|
|
MRS
CHRISTINE NEWBY (Mexborough, S Yorks): “My husband has
arthritis in the shoulder, elbow and back. He had had injections and
everything but none of it worked. Then I sprayed on Kool ‘n Fit
and he got his first decent night’s sleep in months. I have had
sciatica for years. I used to have to climb the stairs dragging one
leg behind me because of the pain. Now I can walk up and down them normally.”
|
|
TIM
EXETER (former Richmond RFC conditioning coach): “I broke
my neck playing rugby 10 years ago and sometimes it plays up. One day
I couldn’t get to a therapist so I used Kool ‘n Fit. It
was very effective. I play a lot of tennis to a pretty strenuous level
and find the sport conditioner beneficial before and after playing.”
|
|
MRS
WYNNE-WILLIAMS: “The pain reliever worked immediately
on my husband’s backache. He gave the bottle to his mother for
her arthritis and it worked brilliantly.”
|
|
POSTCARD
FROM MAGALLUF, MALLORCA: “Thank you for sending Kool
‘n Fit so promptly. I was dreading the plane flight because of
my back trouble but I took your advice and sprayed before boarding and
during the flight – and now I feel fine. Having an enjoyable winter
break. Once again, thanks to Natural Health & Fitness for your advice.”

I BROKE
BOTH ANKLES. NOW I WOULDN'T BE WITHOUT MY KOOL'N FIT
KATHLEEN STEER of Horsham writes: "Thank you for forwarding
my bottle of Kool 'n Fit -- the only thing I can't do without. Quite a
few years ago I fell in the garden and broke both ankles. I have a plate
and eight pins in the right one.
About five years ago my right leg seized up and I couldn't walk for some
time. However, after taking my painkillers etc I happened to read in a
woman's magazine (Woman's Own) a write-up from a lady praising Kool 'n
Fit. I thought I'd give it a go, which I did, thank goodness -- at least
I am on my feet and walking.
I showed the bottle to my doctor and he was quite impressed, especially
with my progress. My age is 81, so you can see I am quite able to get
about. So I say a big 'thank you' to Kool 'n Fit. I wouldn't be
without it -- ever."

MOST LADIES SMELL OF PERFUME . . . I SMELL OF KOOL 'N FIT
ROSEMARY BRANHAM of Sedbergh, Cumbria, writes: "I was first introduced
to Kool 'n Fit in the exhibitors' tent at the first Hawaiian Marathon
Waikiki several years ago. At the time I suffered badly from arthritic
knees and ankles, and very bad circulation in the legs.
The relief which I had when I used Kool 'n Fit was unbelievable, so
much so that I have recommended it to family and friends. Up to the
present time I have always had to stock up when I visited the United
States. I have also given bottles as gifts to friends and family in
this country. I am delighted to find a supplier here and have forwarded
your details to fellow sufferers.
"Recently I have been suffering with a frozen shoulder and the
only relief I have received has been with the Magic Spray. My physiotherapist
has been most impressed by my progress and requested your website address.
Most ladies smell of perfume. I smell of Kool 'n Fit."
